Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how Pont Digital Inc. (“Pont Digital”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes information when you use the AI Agent Portal and related services available at hub.pont-digital.ca (the “Service”).
If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact us at support@pont-digital.ca.
2. Scope
This policy covers information we process when you visit our public website, create an account, use our AI agents and workspaces, and when you connect third-party services such as QuickBooks Online through Intuit’s OAuth authorization flow.
This Service is independent of Intuit Inc. Connecting QuickBooks does not mean Intuit endorses Pont Digital. We may identify ourselves only as a member of the Intuit Developer Program where applicable.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Account and profile information
- Name, email address, and authentication credentials
- Organization or workspace details you provide
- Plan, billing-related metadata, and usage of portal features
3.2 Usage and technical information
- Log data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and timestamps
- Pages and features you use within the Service
- Error and diagnostic events needed to operate and secure the Service
3.3 Content you submit
- Messages, prompts, documents, images, and other content you upload or generate in the portal
- Agent configuration, prompts, and workspace settings
3.4 QuickBooks Online data (when you connect)
If you authorize a QuickBooks Online connection, we access accounting data through the Intuit QuickBooks Online API using the scope required for accounting integration. The integration primarily reads company accounting data to power CFO analysis features. When you explicitly approve a categorization proposal in the product, we may update the category (account) on the matched QuickBooks transaction (for example a Purchase or Deposit) so the reclassification is reflected in your books. We do not create or reorder bank feed rules via the API; suggested rules are exported for you to import manually in QuickBooks.
Depending on your connection and features you use, this may include:
- Company identity information (for example company name and realm identifier)
- OAuth access and refresh tokens needed to keep your connection active
- Financial reports and related records such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, accounts receivable/payable aging, expenses by vendor, purchases, invoices, and company info
- Derived snapshots, metrics, categorizations, and AI-generated CFO insights based on that data
We only request and use QuickBooks data that is necessary for the stated purpose of the connected features (financial analysis, reporting, chat assistance, scheduled insights, approved category write-back, and related export helpers such as suggested bank rules for manual import by you).
4. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service
- Authenticate users and secure accounts and integrations
- Sync and analyze QuickBooks Online data you authorize, generate reports and insights, and support CFO workspace features
- Communicate service-related notices (for example security, billing, or product updates)
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use QuickBooks customer data for unrelated advertising or share identifiable QuickBooks company data across unrelated customer accounts.
5. Legal bases and customer consent
Where required by applicable law (including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, and PIPEDA where they apply), we process personal information based on contract performance, legitimate interests in operating a secure service, legal obligations, and/or your consent—especially for connecting third-party accounts such as QuickBooks Online.
By connecting QuickBooks Online, you instruct us to access and process the authorized company data for the purposes described in this policy and in the product UI at the time of connection.
6. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us host, store, authenticate, email, process payments, or run AI models, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations
- Intuit, to the extent required to establish and maintain your QuickBooks Online OAuth connection and API access
- Professional advisors or authorities when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to continued privacy protections
We do not publish identifiable QuickBooks customer data. Any aggregate analytics, if used, are anonymized so individuals or companies cannot reasonably be identified.
7. Data retention and deletion
We retain account information for as long as your account remains active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
QuickBooks connection tokens and synced financial snapshots are retained while the connection/feature remains active and for a limited period afterward as needed for auditability, troubleshooting, and lawful retention. When you disconnect QuickBooks Online from the Service, we stop new syncs and will delete or de-identify stored QuickBooks tokens and associated synced financial datasets from active systems within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting support@pont-digital.ca. We will respond within the timelines required by applicable law.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal and QuickBooks-related data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and secure storage of OAuth credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we continually improve our controls consistent with industry practice and Intuit platform expectations for developers.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based (for example, by disconnecting QuickBooks Online). To exercise these rights, email support@pont-digital.ca.
10. Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. International transfers
We may process and store information in Canada, the United States, or other countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, communicated through the Service.
13. Third-party services and trademarks
QuickBooks Online is provided by Intuit Inc. Your use of QuickBooks is also governed by Intuit’s terms and privacy statements. Pont Digital is not responsible for Intuit’s products or policies.
